My world of cars and rants

One person asked me before, how can you love cars so much? Aren’t they just 4 wheels, bolted to a steering wheel and an engine? My response would be, then how are people who fascinate about things like furniture, what is the difference? They are all furniture so why bother if your chair comes from the Ming Dynasty in ancient China? The car is made by so much more than just bolts and nuts, it is the idea of a brilliant man who wants to build something from his dream. That is why car companies that build their cars solely to earn money lacks the ability to put their soul into a car, which is why the cars they end up building are rubbish. If everyone wants a sensible car then everyone should go get a Ford Focus. Honestly when I see a car I love explode into flames it is actually heartbreaking, it is like a celebrity death and it pains me to see such cars not being treated with respect.

Unfortunately there are people who will not see the meaning of cars other than just a mean of transport, if you cannot see the car is more than just a way to get from where you are going to where you need to go, you should just take public transport, leave the car to the people who can appreciate them. You don’t see the people who love cars telling people who love antiques “oh your vase is JUST a vase, it is made of old glass and that is just that. So what is the point of having them?” There are critics but if people love their cars, they should be left to do what they want and not just because you have a second opinion it does not mean they are wrong.

Now the fact is cars have been on this world a long time and they will be here for a long time, I don’t know, maybe people are jealous that cars garner immediate attention instead of their vases or their expensive jewelry? I can’t say for sure, but take that Lamborghini for example, it is  a work of a man who had a dream to design something that looks like that, and it is like a potter who makes a classy vase and as it ages it gets more valuable, but this car gains the attention it deserves now and those people…a bit bitter?
